Flowcharts and process maps are one of the main tools of a continuous improvement profesisonal. We use them for many purposes including mapping current-state map, future state map, problem-solving flow chart and what not. Not only this, we have different types of maps too, like, functional flowchart, sequential flow chart, time-series flow chart and what not.
And then, some people do find innovative and funny uses of flow chart too. Here is an example from the Vice-presidential debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden, I got in a forwarded email.
